Jaguar:JiFFI
Jaguar File Format Interchanger (JiFFi) is a tool that allows you to convert a file from and to any of the popular file formats of Atari Jaguar ROMs. Much of this information is sourced from Reboot's website.
The supported filetypes are:
- COFF/ABS (generated by mac/aln and smac/sln toolchains)
- BIN/BJL (headerless, popular because of the BJL mod for the Jaguar)
- Jaguar Server (v2 and v3, special header produced by ST assemblers mostly)
- ULS (the phenomenally easy CD creator for homebrews from Reboot!)
- ROM
Note that JCD, the Atari Jaguar CD filetype for Jaguar GameDrive, is not supported.
Converting a File
To convert a file, simply click the "Source file", choose your file, and choose the output format you'd like as well as the target path then click "Create file(s)".
BJL
If you have a BJL modded console connected to your PC, you can choose "Send to Jaguar via BJL" to directly upload to it.
Skunkboard
The Skunkboard is a development cart that you can load up to two 4MB ROMs or one 6MB ROM onto via USB for development purposes or playback. If you have a Skunkboard connected to your PC, you can choose "Send to Jaguar via BJL" to directly upload to it.
