 | Setting a custom value is not recommended for the longevity of the PS4! Setting up a low value will wear out the fan faster, while being always louder. Setting up a too high value may result in thermal throttling, alongside other issues! |
Fan Threshold (sometimes called Fan Control) is a payload found on exploit hosts that lets the user control its target temperature on when the fans should kick in.
- User can change its value from 40° to 79°C. The default value is 79°C.
- The payload also applies to PS4-Linux.
