TG16:External RGB Mods
There is a variety of external plug-n-play devices for the TurboGrafx-16 to add features. These devices are only compatible with units that have an expansion port.

Spark Plug
The Spark Plug is a device designed by TianFeng that allows for RGB, composite video and stereo audio output via a 9 pin mini-DIN connector (the same as a Genesis/Mega Drive model 2).
db GrafxBooster TTP
The db GrafxBooster TTP is a device designed by db Electronics that adds RGB and S-video outputs, as well as providing another composite video output and stereo audio. It also has a jumper onboard to choose between TTL sync and regular CSYNC.

SLG360 Video Booster
A generic design known as the SLG360 is also available through various avenues such as eBay and AliExpress. This inexpensive adapter outputs both RGB and composite video with stereo audio through both RCA jacks and a 9-pin mini-DIN connector. However, it is not recommended as the RGB amplifier circuit is built incorrectly and the composite video output is not buffered or amplified. In addition, the stereo audio output is not amplified.
