Video Cables

Note: Phat consoles can use Slim cables and vice versa (whereas the 360 E can only use its composite cable or HDMI), as the differences are primarily in color (generally, gray versus black) and the omission of Toslink.

  • Official cable came included with an Xbox 360 E, but was not sold separately. Many third party cables were made that are compatible with it, such as those commonly sold for the iPod Photo/Color/Video (as the "iPod AV Cable") and the Raspberry Pi 1+/2/3/4.

HDMI

Any quality HDMI cable will work fine. It's recommended to use one with a ferrite bead on it to prevent interference that may cause signal drop-outs.
