XDVDMulleter is a multi purpose tool for managing original Xbox disc backups. It can view and extract the files of a game disc.
Original Xbox games need to be "mulleted" with XDVDMulleter & patches before being burned into a DVD+DL.
Burning in Redump style won't work because LT3.0 only expects "mulleted" discs.
"Mulleting" Original Xbox Games
Guide courtesy of this Reddit post.
- When you load the ISO in XDVDMulleter, it asks if for the video file, click No (it doesn't matter it will rebuild it after inserting the patches)
- Then it asks you if you want to fix the pfi file (it tries to check online but it will fail), click No.
- Then it will take you to the "viewing Xbox ISO details" window with tabs below.
- In the "Stealth" tab click "Insert SS" and select the .SS file in the "Patches/Security Sector" folder.
- Then click "Insert Stealth" and select the files in the "Patches/Stealth" folder (a window will say "no video to get size of" click Ok)
- (Some games have specific Stealth files to them, so use the ones in the "Patches/Stealth & SS files for specific games")
- Now go the "Video" tab and click "Insert Video", it will attemp to insert the video file based on SS detail, click Yes and then Ok.
- Go back to the "Stealth" tab and "Insert Stealth" again. (The iXtreme Compatible box at the top right should be checked meaning it should work)
- Now go to the "Other" tab and click "Make .dvd file" and save it in the same location of the ISO.
- And finally, open the .dvd file with IMGBurn to burn the game. (make sure IMGBurn is set to the correct layerbreak, click the icon with a disk and a ? and check if the "Layer Break" line says "1913776" at the end. Or to be extra sure, go to "Tools" then "Settings", click on the "Write" tab and in the top right where it says "Layer Break (For DL Media)" click "User Specified" and in the "Sectors in L0" box type "1913776" and click "OK")
All of the checkboxes must be ticked, most importantly iXtreme Compatible. See the image below.
