Information

Russian engineer MNEMO (3DO Renovation) develops and sells an ODE for the FZ-1, FZ-10, and GDO-101 models of the 3DO.

Supported Features

  • Storage: USB 2.0 (e.g., thumb drives)
  • Filesystem: FAT32
  • Filenames: Long filenames supported
  • Disc Image Format: ISO
  • Unsigned Disc Images: Support for playing unsigned disc images (e.g., homebrew)
  • Subdirectories: "Unlimited" subdirectories supported
  • Sorting: Menu automatically sorts contents alphanumerically
  • In-Game Reset: Holding console's reset button for 3 seconds returns to menu (Robert Smith's Controller Reset kit provides controller button combination to achieve the same)
  • NVRAM: Includes feature to copy NVRAM to file, and also write file to NVRAM (i.e., save backups)
  • Soldering: FZ-1 and GDO-101 variants are solderless, while FZ-10 requires soldering

All three variants of MNEMO's ODE are compatible with 100% of the 3DO library.
