In order to exploit a compatible console to install CFW, you must run PS3Xploit (a software tool) or use a hardware flasher. Before being able to exploit it, you must first determine what type of flash chip your console uses, NAND or NOR. Check the model number on the back of your console and compare it to the chart below to determine which guides you can follow.
