The Sony C'estPIA KV-9PR1 is a rather unique 9" CRT manufactured by Sony and was only sold in Japan during the mid 1980s. At first glance, it is a fairly basic small set with a built-in antenna, RF input via a 3.5 mm external antenna jack, and it can only be powered via a wall outlet. However, the KV-9PR1 has an interesting feature where it can display a solid colored screen as a kind of mood lighting, with the color being adjustable via a joystick on the top. There is also a "Sepia" button where it can display a monochrome television picture tinted in a single color, with the tint being controlled by the joystick. It also has a pop-up carry handle and built-in kickstand.

The KV-9PR1 was designed by Kazue Kato[1] and was available in either black, light pink, or white.
