By default, the PlayStation TV has an artifical list of games that are blocked on the console. Many of them were disabled due to control restrictions, but some are disabled despite using very little or none of the features of the handheld counterpart.
Luckily, with a jailbroken console, this artificial blacklist can be lifted by the use various methods.
DolcePolce
- Download the latest DolcePolce.suprx file from its GitHub page.
- Transfer the plugin file to ur0:/tai on the console.
- Add this line inside under the *main section in config.txt:
- ur0:/tai/DolcePolce.suprx
- Save the text file and refresh the LiveArea. The console's whitelist will now allow any PS Vita game can be played on your PSTV with the plugin active.
Whitelister App (Deprecated)
- Download Whitelister v.1.1 from Wololo or VitaDB
- Transfer the vpk file to your PSTV's storage via any method (VitaShell + FTP is nice)
- Launch VitaShell
- Navigate to the vpk file, press X, choose the option to install
- Quit VitaShell
- Launch Whitelister which will immediately close itself, this is normal.
- Launch your game!
