An Optical Drive Emulator is a device that allows you to run .iso format game backups on an Xbox 360, without requiring a hardmodded console with a modded kernel and a custom dashboard.
The majority of consoles are compatible, with some newer S and all E models requiring the console to be RGH exploited to function correctly, and the newest models (Winchester) not being compatible. Please refer to your ODE page of choice, for a table of compatibility.
- A product from the WiiKey Team, based off of Linux, compatible with multiple file systems.
