Component Output
Component video is typically supported in the Sony PVM/BVM line of monitors, and many late-model TVs support Component. Component video is supported in most HDTVs, though it is better to use HDMI if the console supports it. Component video is technically different than RGBS video, but offers excellent quality and can produce HD video resolutions. It's a good 'second option' for output to a capable low definition monitor / TV.
- Microsoft Xbox
- Microsoft Xbox 360 (VGA also supported)
- Nintendo GameCube (very expensive cable)
- Nintendo Wii (plays GameCube games)
- Nintendo Wii U
- Sony PlayStation 2
- Sony PlayStation 3 (lowest resolution is 480i, does not display 240p)
