Abgx360 is a PC tool that can create stealth patches and add the proper padding for Xbox 360 game disc backups, which is essential for using them on a console with a flashed DVD drive or an ODE, especially when playing them while connected to Xbox Live.
A video guide on how to use create patches with Abgx360 can be found on MrMario's channel. A video guide on how to patch 1.0.6 versions of abgx360 to use a new online database can also be found on MrMario's channel.
Installing Abgx360
Download the latest Abgx360 for your respective operating system from here. The macOS and Windows installers include a GUI.
- Note: The official 1.0.6 versions will require a fixed .ini file in order to connect to Hadzz's database rather than the old Abgx database.
Patching Abgx360 (Only for 1.0.6)
If you are using the macOS version or just want to use the last official 1.0.6 version on Windows/Linux, you will need to download a patched .ini file in order to download patches from a database.
- Open Abgx360 GUI
- On the top toolbar, click the help tab.
- Click
Where is my StealthFiles folder...
orWhere is my Images folder...
- Select Yes on the popup.
- Go up a folder. Afterwords you should be in an
Abgx360
folder. - Place the modified .ini file in this directory.
Adding Video files
By default, Abgx360 and its online database do not come with the necessary video files for XGD2 games. These can be useful if your game backup has broken video files, as Abgx360 can automatically fix them along side the stealth patches.
- Download the video files from the Abgx360 download page. They will be located at the bottom.
- If you wish to download the video file that matches your game's wave, you can find the game title from here and download the matching video for the game's wave.
- You can also download every video for every wave if you wish.
- Open Abgx360 GUI
- On the top toolbar, click the help tab.
- Click
Where is my StealthFiles folder...
- Select Yes on the popup.
- Unzip the video files to the root of this folder.

Creating a Patched .iso
- There will be an input section on the top of the abgx360 window. The drop down menu allows you to use a single file, a directory of files, or a burned DVD in a disc drive as inputs.
- Select the game or folder you want to patch.
- Click the Launch button on the bottom. The patch will take some time.
- Once the patch is finished, you can close the CLI output window. The game will now be ready to play on an ODE or burned on a disc with a flashed DVD drive.
