Hidden Service Menu Buttons
Some remotes have a hidden button to access the service menu. You will need to open the remote to access the button and optionally drill a hole in the remote shell so you can press the button without having to open the remote. If your service manual mentions a separate "service remote", your retail remote may have a hidden button.
Alternatively, your remote may have a small hole in it that you can insert a paperclip to press a hidden service menu button.
