Below is a list of apps and emulators for the Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X that are installable in developer mode (and some in retail mode). Many more UWP apps will work, but these ones are specifically optimized to the Xbox One.

| WinIRC | C# IRC client that has a UWP version. |
| XboxMediaUSB | Windows tool that automatically adds missing permissions to USB drives for Xbox consoles. |
| Safe Exit | Exits Dev Mode without the prompt to delete all installed apps while keeping all Dev Mode apps installed. |
| Moonlight | Stream PC games to an Xbox in combination with Sunshine |
