TestLaunch is a menu which allows you to test the functionality of controllers.
Gamepad
This tool allows you to test various components of your controller. You can switch between tools by pressing Start and Back at the same time.
Control Test Page
Allows you to test each button/stick to ensure that they work.
Vibration Test Page
Allows you to use the left and right triggers to test the functionality of your controller's vibration motors.
Deadzone Calibration Page
Allows you to resize the analog stick deadzone on your controller. The area inside of the white box represents the areas in which your analog sticks will be less sensitive to small changes. This is useful if your thumbsticks naturally drift in one direction when not being touched. A larger deadzone may make it feel less responsive, while a tiny deadzone may make it feel twitchy or give you issues if your thumb sticks drift naturally.
Control Quantization Page
Allows you to test the in-between button press values of the buttons on your controller. The harder you press a button, the higher the bar on it's corresponding graph will go.
Zero Slot Controller Test
Allows you to test each button/stick of the first controller sequentially. It will record the currently selected button presses and all in-between values of that button press.
One Slot Controller Test
Same as above, for the second controller slot.
Two Slot Controller Test
Same as above, for the third controller slot.
MU Read Write Test
Tests the read/write capabilities of your memory unit.
MU Traffic Generator
Exact method of operation unknown, but likely does many arbitrary read/writes on a memory unit.
Reenumeration Stress
Rapidly disconnects and reconnects your controllers to test their ability to reconnect.
Controller Stress
Maxes out rumble on controllers until exited.
