My understanding of this page - as it's based on the Google Sheet I started compiling a while back (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11xMh5utlKDukC3sWWQUUWPj4NSrJH5ouvOsHFRC_egs/) - is that this page is to track Analog Controller & Dual Analog support ''only'', not games that only support the Dual Shock. Dual Shock support really doesn't need to be covered, as almost every game released from January 1998 supports it. It's the Dual Analog and Analog Controller that are woefully misunderstood and poorly documented and need a list like this.
As such, should the title and intro be changed to make this clearer? There's already games being added which aren't relevant to that controller, including ones I listed in a separate section on that sheet as already tested and proven to not work (see: V Rally 2, Tomb Raider 3, Tekken 3, etc.); there's even games on this page now which don't support *any* analog control systems (Tomb Raider)!

Dual Shock Column

  • Does the dual shock column make sense as it is now? since analog mode per se is the same, that leaves the new protocol, including new-style vibration, as the differences from "red mode" --User:Ryccardo
    • I'd argue that "Dual Shock support" should either be removed (red LED = Dual Shock analog support), or rephrased/reworded to "Dual Shock Vibration" as opposed to SCPH-1150 Vibration (as they are very much not the same thing). However, Dual Shock vibration is such a common thing that I don't know if it even needs tracking, but it does need to be made clear that the vibration column is only for SCPH-1150, as already games are being added that do not cause the SCPH-1150 to vibrate. --User:Coldkennels
