Open Vita shell
# Open Vita shell
# Press {{Button|PSvita|Start}}
# Press {{Button|PSvita|Dpad Down}} twice to {{Button|PSvita|Select}} button option
# Make sure the option is set to FTP, if it isn't press {{Button|PSvita|Cross}}
# Press {{Button|PSvita|Circle}} or {{Button|PSvita|Start}} to back out to the main menu
# Press {{Button|PSvita|Select}} to enable the FTP service
# On your choice of FTP Browser (Filezilla is recommended), enter the provided IP:port


Press {{Button|PSvita|Start}}
and now you have an FTP connection to your PS Vita

Transfer files with FTP

  1. Open Vita shell
  2. Press Start
  3. Press Dpad Down twice to Select button option
  4. Make sure the option is set to FTP, if it isn't press Cross
  5. Press Circle or Start to back out to the main menu
  6. Press Select to enable the FTP service
  7. On your choice of FTP Browser (Filezilla is recommended), enter the provided IP:port

and now you have an FTP connection to your PS Vita
