Required Items
- Make sure you have Custom Firmware (CFW) installed.
- Have the latest GodMode9 installed.
- The 3DS or DS Cartridge you want to dump.
Dumping a 3DS Cartridge for use on your 3DS
- Insert the 3DS Cartridge into your 3DS.
- Hold (Start) and power on your 3DS. GodMode9 will launch.
- Navigate to [C:].
- Choose the TitleID.trim.3ds.
- Choose "NCSD image options...".
- Choose Build CIA from file.
Dumping a 3DS Cartridge for an Emulator
- Insert the 3DS Cartridge into your 3DS.
- Hold (Start) and power on your 3DS. GodMode9 will launch.
- Navigate to [C:].
- Choose the TitleID.trim.3ds.
- Choose "NCSD image options...".
- Decrypt file (0:/gm9/out).
- Turn off the 3DS.
- Remove the SD Card and insert it into a PC.
- Navigate to
/gm9/out
on the SD card. - Copy or Move the TitleID.trim.3ds to somewhere on your PC.
- Now you have a backup you can play on a 3DS Emulator on your PC.
