As of the last time this page was updated, Aroma does not yet have a port of the Homebrew Launcher. This is not required, however, as Aroma includes a homebrew_on_menu plugin that will automatically put any apps compatible with it onto the Wii U Menu, appearing how any normal application would show up.

The Homebrew Launcher is a dedicated launcher application for launching Wii U homebrew apps, developed by Dimok and others. It remains to be the only way to launch .elf homebrew via legacy CFWs.

Legacy CFW

When running Mocha, once launched via the Internet Browser exploit, Mocha will automatically boot to the Homebrew Launcher.

On legacy CFWs, by default, the Homebrew Launcher is launched by launching Mii Maker. It can be exited to return back to Mii Maker. This booting functionality can be removed my deleting a specific file on their SD card, in case the user would not like to launch the Homebrew Launcher every time they open Mii Maker, but then the user must provide another way to open the launcher to be able to use it.

Aroma CFW

As of the last time this page was updated, Aroma does not yet have a port of the Homebrew Launcher. This is not required, however, as Aroma includes a homebrew_on_menu plugin that will automatically put any apps compatible with it onto the Wii U Menu, appearing how any normal application would show up.
