The Sony KV-6AD2 is a 6" consumer CRT first introduced around 1993, and was only sold in Japan. It operates off a 12V to 24V DC power supply, and was available in both black or blue with a bright teal accent near the speaker.
Intermittent or No Power
One possible cause for no power or intermittent power is cracked solder joints on the DC power jack, which can be repaired by reflowing the joints.[1]
