The Crystal Clear Audio Mod (CCAM for short) is an audio amplifier circuit developed by Estonian enthusiast Tiido Priimägi and formally introduced in 2009.[1] It was designed to improve the audio quality on Genesis/Mega Drive consoles which are notorious for their poor audio, such as the VA7 model 1 and earlier model 2 revisions, and was one of the first attempts by enthusiasts to address this issue. The CCAM was eventually superseded by the Mega Amp circuit, which would later become part of the Triple Bypass board.
