Lynx:RetroSix IPS Replacement
Available here, the RetroSix IPS Cleanscreen replaces the power hungry, low-contrast screen with a vibrant IPS.
From RetroSix:
"One of the downsides of the Lynx is the screen. The original often fails, and even when it works is very outdated, dim and low contrast, not to mention power hungry.
We decided to improve that by making an easy to install, ultra low power, modern screen driver board, that allows you to use the IPS screen." [1]
Usage
Holding Left, A and B brings up the On Screen Menu, then pressing B enters the menu while Left and A (right) go left and right in the menu.
Options in the menu include pixel grids, colour modes and VGA output.
Installation
The screen is easy to install and can be completed in a matter of minutes. The installation is solder free in Lynx II, or soldered wires for Lynx.
