Firmwares

Below is a list of firmwares of the most popular brands. It is recommended to download them straight from the source, but this page serves as a backup in case the developer’s site go down. If any links are broken, send a message in the Console Mods Discord and it’ll be fixed ASAP. You can check the PUP MD5 hash to verify that the file you download is unmodified and an exact copy.

NoBD means it's for use with consoles with a broken or missing Blu-Ray logic board.
NoBT means it's for use with a broken or missing Bluetooth chip.
There are also firmware versions that are both noBD and noBT, in case both are missing/broken.

A list of most of the firmwares and PUP MD5s can be found through MidnightChannel and Darthsternie in different categories.

HFW

Do not install standard HFW on a CFW console or after using bgtoolset/ps3toolset. HFW is not a CFW and you will have to redo the flash exploit if installed. However, dual-boot HFW from Littlebalup will work fine. Currently, Evilnat is the recommended CFW.

3.55 CFW with PUP spoofed to 9.99. Recommended to install Rogero v3.7 immediately after. This will allow you to install a 3.XX firmware over it. If this doesn’t work, try the Rebug downgrader. Do not install on consoles that report 3.56 on MinVerChk.
