Most games on the Wii used single layer discs, which could store 4.7 GB of data in them. However, some games, starting with Super Smash Bros. Brawl, opted to use a dual layer disc instead. These discs could store double the amount of data in them, up to 8.5 GB. These are all the games that are known to use dual layer discs.
