Playing game backups requires your PSP to have custom firmware installed.
Playing ISO Backups
- Connect your PSP to a PC via USB and enter USB mode.
- Navigate to the "ISO" folder on the root of your Memory Stick (or Internal Storage on a PSP Go) and copy the ISO of your backed up game to this folder. Exit USB mode when finished.
- To play your game, find it under Memory Stick > Game (or Internal Storage > Game on a PSP Go) and launch it. The game will launch and play just as if it were being played off a UMD.
Playing PSN EBOOT.PBP Backups
- Connect your PSP to a PC via USB and enter USB mode.
- Download and install a plugin called npdrm_free.
- Navigate to the PSP > GAME folder on your Memory Stick (or Internal Storage on a PSP Go) and copy the folder of your backed up PSN game to this location. Exit USB mode when finished.
- To play your game, find it under Memory Stick > Game (or Internal Storage > Game on a PSP Go) and launch it. It will launch as with any game downloaded normally from PSN.
