Reboot Loop

If the console is constantly rebooting it self before displaying anything on screen, there can be multiple things causing this issue.

On a FZ-1 unit:

  • Check to see if capacitor C1 leaked on the board, specifically onto C36. If so:
    • Replace both capacitors.
    • Check the nearby vias to see if they were clogged or damaged by the fluid and clean or bypass the via.
    • Check to see if it leaked onto the power switch and test functionality of the switch itself.
  • Try replacing C401 with a 22uF to 100uF 16v+ capacitor.
