There are a handful of emulators available for the Game Boy Advance besides the built-in Game Boy and Game Boy Color support. They can be loaded using a flash cart. The original list was from EZ-FLASH OMEGA's site as they are all bootable from EZ-FLASH flash carts.

- Goomba Color: Sound, SGB borders, save states.
- PocketGB: Low compatibility, high speed.
- NES
- PocketNES: Fast, stable, with multiple zoom options.
- InfoNES
- Famicom Advance: Famicom / NES emulation.
- HCVA: Famicom / NES emulator with support for lots of mappers.
- SNES
- SNES Advance: Formerly known as PocketSNES. Different versions have different game-specific bug fixes. This emulator is very inaccurate and has lots of issues, it hasn't been updated for a long time, so it's not recommended to use.
- Pocket SNES: Low Compatibility.
- Sega Master System
- DrSMS: Excellent speed and compatibility.
- SMS Advance: Good. No FM Chip, EEPROM emulation.
- Sega Game Gear
- DrSMS: Excellent speed and compatibility.
- SMS Advance: No FM Chip, EEPROM emulation.
- Sega SG-1000
- SMS Advance: No FM Chip, EEPROM emulation.
- PC Engine
- PCEAdvance
- Neo Geo Pocket
- NGP Advance: Incomplete but good.
- WonderSwan
- SwanAdvance: Very early, low compatibility and speed.

- Greenboy Attack: Green Beret, Rush'n Attack, Mr. Goemon.
