If an application is debug-signed, you cannot run it on a stock Xbox 360. They are meant to only be run on a devkit or testkit, however, with RGH/JTAG systems, you have the option to either run a debug NAND via RGLoader/XDKBuild or a dual-NAND device, or you can run debug builds using the DashLaunch plugin HvP2 by Xx jAmes t xX and Chr0m3 x MoDz.

Installing HvP2

To install, ensure that you're on dashboard 17559 and copy HvP2.xex to the root of your hard drive. Add the file as a plugin for DashLaunch and reboot. There will be no notification that the plugin has loaded, but you should be able to launch debug xex or exe files now.

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure the plugin is named `HvP2.xex and on the root of your HDD, as both are required.
  • Disable the plugin before running original Xbox games.
  • Do not use the plugin while online, as it will kick you offline.
