This a work in progress homebrew application to replace the YouTube Client for N3DSXL or N2DSXL only.
Required Items
- Make sure you have Custom Firmware (CFW) installed.
- Have followed this guide.
Installing ThirdTube
- Power on your 3DS and launch Universal Updater.
- Click on the Magnifying glass.
- Click on the blank rectangle.
- Type in ThirdTube.
- Check mark the
Titleon the bottom screen. - It will show up on the top screen.
- Click the A button.
- Choose ThirdTube.cia.
- Confirm the choice.
- The wheel in the middle of the bottom screen will start spinning. It will show a success message when it is finished.
- Go back to the Home Screen.
- Open the present and enjoy the application
- If it gives you an error about not dumping dsp do the following.
- Open up Rosalina Menu.
- Default is
L + Down on D-pad + Select.
- Default is
- Scroll down to "Miscellaneous options ...".
- Click the A button on it.
- Scroll down to Dump DSP firmware.
- Click the A button on it.
- Press B till you get back to the home screen.
- Launch the Application and Enjoy YouTube on the 3DS.
- Open up Rosalina Menu.
