3DS:FTP

File Transfer Protocol(FTP) is a way to transfer files from your PC to the 3DS

Required Items

• Make sure you have Custom Firmware (CFW) installed.
• FTP Client
  • Filezilla is the most commonly used one for Windows

Installing a FTP application on the 3DS

• Install FTPD.cia manually or by using Universal Updater

Transferring Files

1. Launch the FTPD application
2. It will show an IP address
   • In example 192.168.0.16:5000
3. Launch your FTP Client on your PC
4. Type in the IP Address and Port on the client
5. It will show the SD Card directory
6. Transfer or copy over any files you want from your 3DS
