# In your shared location create a folder called "PKG".

This guide will walk you through installing a PKG file onto your console over your local network.

Prerequisites

Installing PKG Files via WebMAN MOD

  1. In your shared location, create a folder named packages with all of your desired PKG files.
  2. Move packages (PKGs) into this folder. You can also put the package files on the root of the shared folder.
  3. Run ps3netsrv GUI on the PC and configure WebMAN's setup with the IP of your PC (displayed on the top of the window of ps3netsvr GUI).
  4. Type in your PS3's IP address in your web browser and select the folder that contains your packages (The folder will be mounted as /dev_bdvd). If successful you will see a notification "PKG Loaded" on your PS3 soon as you select this option.
  5. Navigate to XMB's Install Package Files (Standard) and install any of the listed package files (found in the root of the mounted /dev_bdvd).
    • You can also pressTriangle to batch install every PKG at once if they are on the root of the shared folder.
