The 2600RGB is a video modification board for the Atari 2600 designed by Tim Worthington of NESRGB fame.
Description
Typical with all game consoles of the 1970s, unmodified 2600 consoles only feature RF output, usually through a hardwired cable that is unwieldy and susceptible to damage. The 2600RGB board improves on this by offering not only composite video and S-video outputs, but also high quality RGB output. This makes it the first (and as of this writing, only) video mod for the 2600 to offer such an output. It also makes the 2600 much easier to connect to an RGB monitor or an upscaler.
