An alternate device, called the PSX, was a combination PS2 and digital video recorder / DVD burner with the first usage of the XrossMediaBar (XMB) interface that would later be on the PS3/PSP. There was also a TV with a poorly integrated PS2 released in 2010 — the Bravia KDL-22PX300.
