The Sega Dreamcast is a console from the sixth generation of video game consoles, and the last console produced by Sega. The console was launched in Japan on November 27th, 1998 followed by North America (9/9/1999) and Europe (October 14th, 1999). The console was the first to have a built-in modem for internet access and online play, 480p output via VGA, memory cards with LCD screens and mini-games, and an optical GD-ROM drive capable of playing game discs of up to 1.2GB in size.
