The console was launched in Japan on August 20th, 1993 followed by North America on September 13th, 1993. It is a LaserDisc, LD-G, and CDDA player capable of interfacing with "PAC" control pack modules, effectively adding a Sega Genesis and NEC Turbo Duo onto it.
