The Nintendo GameCube (GCN) is a console from the sixth generation of video game consoles. The console was launched in Japan on September 14th, 2001 followed by North America (November 18, 2001) and Europe (May 3, 2002). A hybrid GameCube DVD player, the Panasonic Q, was released on October 19, 2001. A broadband adapter was also released allowing online or LAN play for 8 games.

The GC-Forever wiki is a great supplemental resource to this wiki.
