The Microsoft Xbox is a console from the sixth generation of video game consoles. The console was launched in North America on November 15th, 2001 followed by Japan (February 22nd, 2002) and Europe (March 14th, 2002). The console features a built-in Ethernet adapter for online play and (via an optional add-on) the ability to play DVDs.
